Submental Liposuction (Neck Liposuction or Chin Liposuction) is offered by the triple board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Harrison Lee.
Sometimes, no matter how much you diet or exercise, stubborn pockets of fat persist in the neck. As a result, more and more men and women are choosing to reshape and eliminate “neck fat” or “double chin” with submental liposuction. In fact, liposuction is one of the most common cosmetic plastic surgery procedures performed by Dr. Harrison Lee.
Please note: This procedure is also often performed in tandem with brow lifts, cheek augmentation, and facelifts in order to create a comprehensive transformation of the face for improved facial harmony.

“I interviewed a few different plastic surgeon in Los Angeles to decide who I wanted to move forward with for my neck liposuction surgery. Dr Lee seemed to be the most knowledgeable and thorough. He also had a great bedside manner. My surgery and recovery went smoothly and 3 months post surgery I am beyond extremely happy with the results and the care I received.” ~ Google
Neck liposuction is one of the most common fat removal procedures performed in America. Both women and some men notice that as they age there is an accumulation of fat under the chin. This is often referred to as the “double chin”. There is no reason as to why this occurs but many patients do notice that it runs in families (that this may be genetic). Fat accumulation in the neck can also be a result of weight gain.

The Neck / Chin Liposuction Procedure
During the neck liposuction procedure, the plastic surgeon gently removes excess fat cells to provide a slimmer contour to the neck so that it is more symmetrical and in harmony with the surrounding areas. If necessary, a small incision is created underneath the chin to allow excess fat from beneath the platysma muscle to be removed, which can contribute significantly to the fullness of the neck.
